Nellie Nellz

My name is Nellie Nellz, and I am the CEO and President of Serving Out of LOVE, Inc. From a young age, I felt a deep passion for helping others and giving back. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, I was fortunate to have a stable upbringing, yet I was acutely aware of the pervasive poverty surrounding me, a reality common in many third-world countries.

When I moved to Miami, Florida, the stark contrast of poverty and homelessness in my new community was shocking. It ignited a desire in me to take action. Throughout my adolescence, I dedicated my time to volunteering and doing whatever I could to assist those in need, and my passion only grew stronger.

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic was a turning point for me. As I searched for ways to help, I discovered that many organizations were not responding to the urgent needs of our community. That’s when I realized it was time to embrace my true calling. Thus, Serving Out of LOVE, Inc. was established to support the homeless population in Orlando, Florida.

Shenise Nelson

My name is Shenise Nelson, and I am the Director of Serving Out of LOVE,Inc. My passion for helping others began at a young age when I volunteered to assist the elderly in my neighborhood. Originally from Augusta, Georgia, I later moved to Florida, where my commitment to service deepened.

One of my proudest accomplishments has been my involvement with the Heroes Program for Children's Miracle Network. Through this initiative, we not only raised funds but also brought joy to sick children by visiting them and ensuring that smiles lit up their faces during difficult times. And now I’m extremely grateful to help with our homeless initiatives.

Isany Posada

My name is Isany Posada, and I am currently pursuing my education to become a nurse practitioner while working as a nurse. From a young age, I have felt a deep passion for serving others, and this commitment has only grown stronger over the years. The opportunity to help my community and provide support to those in need fills my heart with immense joy.

Being a helping hand is more than just a profession for me; it’s a calling. I find great fulfillment in connecting with people and making a positive impact on their lives. As I continue my journey in healthcare, I am dedicated to enhancing the well-being of my community and ensuring that everyone receives the compassionate care they deserve.

Christopher Groomes

My name is Christopher Groomes, a Florida native and seasoned commercial real estate professional with Keller Williams Realty. I’m honored by the trust my clients place in me, and I am dedicated to exceeding their expectations every day.

Outside of real estate, my heart is in giving back to the community. I am committed to uplifting families and creating a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.

Shereen Simon

Shereen brings both heart and strategic expertise to Serving Out of LOVE's board of directors. As the Marketing Director of No Limit Counseling and Education, she champions accessible mental healthcare while bringing valuable insights about community wellness to our organization. Her Caribbean roots instilled a deep commitment to community service, which she expresses through her mental health advocacy and her dedication to addressing food insecurity.

Drawing from 15 years of corporate experience combined with her current work in the mental health sector, Shereen offers a unique perspective on holistic community care. She understands that nourishing both body and mind is essential for community wellbeing. This commitment to comprehensive community support extends to her role as a proxy board member for Wedding Wish, where she helps ensure couples in need can celebrate their special day with dignity.

Together with fellow board members, she helps ensure Serving Out of LOVE continues to meet the evolving needs of our community's most vulnerable members while fostering connections between organizations dedicated to service.

Mark Meyer

Mark Meyer, I am the Founder of the Me'Yer Deus Foundation and the author of four books Self-Motivation & Courage, Purpose, Learning Leadership Curriculum, and Destiny. These projects draw from my own personal journey, inspiring others to find the courage to transform their lives.

As a public speaker, I am dedicated to motivating and guiding students in their quest for purpose. The Me'Yer Deus Foundation focuses on mentoring individuals grappling with self-discovery, self-motivation, depression, and low self-esteem, providing them with the support they need to thrive. With over seven years of experience leading various nonprofit organizations including Serving Out of LOVE, Inc.
